| The spacious building provides a restaurant, a stylish dining room, as well as immaculately clean toilet and shower facilities. So far, no such facilities were available anywhere near the Kleinbaai Harbour from where whale and shark viewing boats depart. The hot showers & big fireplace have already provided a "haven" for many a cold, sea-shaken body! Light meals, tea, coffee and confectionery are served in the dining room or on the terrace, 7 days a week. The Great White House specialises in super seafood, fine wine, as well as traditional dishes. Early breakfasts are a daily "happening" when tourists from all over the world prepare themselves for shark or whale watching expeditions. The briefings on what to do and to expect are done here before the boats depart. The dining-room facilities are sufficient to accommodate 60 people. Several social events have taken place at the Great White House since it was opened on January 15, 2002.
